The Red Carpet Event is an Opportunity for us to celebrate not just the NOMINEES for the awards, but for all of the wonderful companies in the Cloth Diaper Community. The event will begin December 1 and will end the night of the diaper awards (January 9th). This will take place at the Padded Tush Stats Facebook Page. Participants can ‘Like’ Facebook pages of various cloth diaper companies to increase their odds of winning.  This is a great opportunity to get to know a lot of great companies. Companies can go HERE to register for sponsorship.

Awards Show

Last year, thousands enjoyed the Diaper Awards event. The event will be from 6pm-7pm PST. Fans can fill out a quick Awards Show Form to enter to win some HUGE prizes (last year hundreds of dollars of cloth diaper prizes were distributed). There will be videos of nominees and announcing the winners, as well as acceptance speeches from those winners. The event will be primarily on the Padded Tush Stats website, but we will also be celebrating on Facebook or Twitter–so you can pick whatever venue works for you for the event. No matter what venue you chose, all info that you would need to enter the giveaway will be provided.

Prizes

There are going to be at least hundreds of dollars of prizes offered again (last year it was over $1,000 of prizes!). You can win by having your vote selected to win a prize, by entering the Red Carpet Event (discussed above), and by filling out the Awards Show Form. There are tons of ways to win a bunch of stuff. Last year dozens of people won prizes. This year, we are going to have a policy that all awards MUST be shipped within two weeks of the winner confirming the award. Winners will be notified the day after the awards show. To ensure as many winners as possible, each winner can receive a maximum number of 1 prize.

We hope that you can join us for this EXCITING event! This is such a fun opportunity to celebrate all of the great things going on in the Cloth Diaper Industry!

Tara Porter

Tara Porter began using cloth diapers in 2011 when she felt that using disposable diapers was costing too much money. The problem was, a lot of the highly recommended diapers weren’t working for her baby. What she finally discovered was that her baby was skinny and a heavy wetter, and that diapers worked differently for those baby types. Because of her professional work with survey design and statistics, she designed Padded Tush Stats as a way to determine how different cloth diapers worked on different babies.

Tara moved on to other career endeavors in 2014 but can still be found online blogging about health and fitness at Fit Baby Steps.
